NLEX Lists Maintenance Projects for 2025
The NLEX Corporation has announced extensive maintenance and road
improvement projects throughout 2025.
These include asphalt overlay from Bocaue to Burol in Bulacan and repairs
to the Marilao River Bridge's expansion joints, expected to be completed by
the end of the month.
Starting in May 2025, NLEX will install new road signs and renovate toll
booths. An investment of ₱1.4 billion is allocated for new license plate
readers and enhanced RFID systems at toll plazas to improve toll collection
efficiency.
Additional infrastructure improvements encompass painting bridge parapets,
toll plaza barriers, concrete dividers, and repairing guardrails and fences
to enhance security.
NLEX's commitment to improving safety and efficiency within the expressway
and at tollgates is commendable. Motorists are advised to stay informed
about traffic advisories and alternative routes issued by NLEX to minimize
inconvenience during these maintenance activities.
