Valenzuela Acquires BYD Police Patrol Cars
BYD Philippines and ACMobility are partnering with the local government of
Valenzuela City to introduce electric vehicles for use by the city's police
and rescue forces.
Under the agreement signed by Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie "Wes"
Gatchalian, a total of 41 electric vehicles will be deployed to the
Valenzuela City Police and the Quick Response Team of the Valenzuela City
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Aside from providing BYD Dolphin units for the city's police and rescue
teams, BYD and ACMobility will install charging stations for electric
vehicles in barangays across the city.
Gatchalian highlighted the savings and the significant role electric
vehicles will play in modernizing the local police force.
